Business leaders addressed the inaugural Australia’s Economic Outlook business luncheon presented by Sky News Australia and The Australian on Wednesday afternoon.
The business community came together in Sydney for two panels to discuss the measures required to address the challenges facing the Australian economy.
The luncheon comes after the recent change in government and as Australia continues to emerge from the pandemic.
Treasurer Jim Chalmers shared his vision for the nation and how the new Labor Government would navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Panel one titled Change In The Midst Of Challenge featured Mr Chalmers, Business Council of Australia CEO Jennifer Westacott, Australian Workers’ Union National Secretary Daniel Walton and REA Group Chief Executive Officer Owen Wilson.
Santos CEO and Manging Director Kevin Gallagher, Crown Resorts and Crown Melbourne CEO Steve McCann, Origin Energy CEO Frank Calabria and Uber ANZ General Manager Dom Taylor will appeared for panel two, A New Economic Outlook.
