Alfred Sanzari Enterprises tapped a new, exclusive broker for its 100,000-square-foot Hackensack retail complex, Summit Plaza.

RIPCO Real Estate Executive Vice President Curtis Nassau and Senior Associate Patrick Brake will oversee leasing for the center located at 370 W. Pleasantview Ave., according to a June 17 announcement from family-owned and operated commercial and residential real estate development and management firm Alfred Sanzari.

Located at the intersection of Route 17, Summit Avenue and West Pleasantview Avenue, a Stop & Shop supermarket anchors the property. Currently, three retail spaces are available for lease, two with 1,450 square feet (contingent) and one with nearly 4,000 square feet.

Interstate 80 as well as Routes 4 and 46 are within 1 mile of Summit Plaza. The shopping center offers high visibility and access from all directions.

According to Placer.ai data for May 2024, Summit Plaza recorded more than 66,000 visits last month. Other tenants at the retail complex include GNC, The UPS Store, LabCorp, Dollar Tree, Trinity Rehab and more. According to RIPCO’s website, tenants suited for the grocery-anchored center include a hair salon, restaurant, medical, education, wireless store and other uses.

The surrounding submarket is densely populated. Alfred Sanzari said there is a population of more than 610,000 people within 5 miles of the property.

“RIPCO Real Estate has demonstrated an impressive track record of leasing success throughout the region for over three decades,” commented Carolina Gutierrez, leasing and marketing manager of Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. “We are excited to work with their team to deepen our diverse roster of in-demand tenants at Summit Plaza.”

Last month, Hackensack-based Alfred Sanzari began renovations at Glenpointe Marriot. The 351-key hotel puts the “stay” in the 670,000-square-foot campus’s live-work and more atmosphere.
