We are now 62 days away from Vanderbilt football’s season opener against Virginia Tech. There’s no 62 listed on the current roster (players who just joined the team this month aren’t listed yet), so, well, nobody to really write about. Last year’s 62 was starting center Julian Hernandez (pictured above), who graduated and moved on.
Clark Lea is apparently excited about this season! Who knows if that’s blowing smoke or if we should really be excited about the revamped offense. I’m sure somebody will remind me about the schedule, which weirdly doesn’t strike me as all that different from a standard SEC schedule (Texas is on it, but Georgia isn’t.)
I don’t know. It’s the offseason. We’re bored. When is SEC Media Days?
