Raiders News: Maxx Crosby honored by alumni Eastern Michigan

The Las Vegas Raiders’ defensive end, Maxx Crosby, has become a household name in football. He has put himself on the map with three straight seasons where he consistently gets pressure on the quarterback.

Crosby was drafted in the fourth round after a productive career at Eastern Michigan. While playing at the college level, he was selected to first-team All-Mac for back-to-back seasons. He needed to put on size and develop a pass-rush plan to win on the edge. Crosby has put on weight and continues to grow as one of the best edge defenders in the NFL.

With all his accomplishments in the NFL and at the university, Crosby was honored with the football field named after him. It was announced Saturday, and Crosby was there to watch the unveiling.

This was a special moment for Crosby. Having the field of Alma mater named after you is a high honor that puts him as one of the greatest players to play at Eastern Michigan. At 26, Crosby can leave his mark on the NFL and become a Raiders legend.
