Taking to Twitter on Sunday, November 20, Kuria listed a few basic commodities whose prices have dropped since Ruto assumed power.

In the last three days, the former Gatundu South MP said maize prices have dropped from KSh 5,600 to KSh 4,900 per bag translating to an 11.5% drop.

He said the price of sugar has declined to KSh 5,800 from KSh 7,200 per 50Kg bag. This represents an 18% decrease.

In terms of edible oil, Kuria said the price per kilogram has reduced to KSh 280 from KSh 340 representing a 22% reduction.
