Colliers Expands Brokerage Presence to Louisiana

COVINGTON, La. – Colliers, a top-ranked global commercial real estate brokerage firm, is opening an office in Covington.

It is the first office in Louisiana for the nearly 50-year-old, Toronto-based firm.

“This office launch is an important milestone in our journey of growth at Colliers and we look forward to delivering outstanding results for our clients in Louisiana and beyond,” said David Josker, a Colliers regional executive, in a press release. “We are confident that our new dedicated team and resources will enable us to capitalize on opportunities, collaborate more closely and further enhance our brand.”

Chris Abadie, chairman of the board at the St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce, has joined Colliers as a senior vice president. Abadie will report to Daniel Taylor, executive managing director for the Texas region. 

“With this strategic move, we are seizing a significant opportunity for growth in the Gulf Coast region,” said Taylor. “Chris’s appointment as our Louisiana brokerage lead in New Orleans heralds an exciting expansion of our services. Abadie joins Colliers after serving as vice president and manager of the commercial brokerage division at Stirling Properties.
