Artemis Risk Solutions Names Leaders for New Insurance Brokerage » Dallas Innovates

CEO Chris Burns

Dallas-based Artemis Risk Solutions LLC has formed an insurance brokerage specializing in employee benefit solutions, property & casualty, and personal lines that will be led by CEO Chris Burns.

Co-founded by industry veterans Chief Revenue Officer Clint Anderson and David Lamb, President, P&C, Artemis said it has representatives throughout the U.S. and direct access to international risk management consulting and insurance brokerage services in 90 countries.

Burns has over 40 years of leadership experience in the insurance brokerage, insurance, and insurtech industries. He previously was the CEO of the Employee Benefits Practice at Willis Group in New York City and London, where he was responsible for managing a $500 million global P&L and 3,000 employees in 75 countries.

Artemis also named Dr. Charles Van Duyne as chief medical advisor and said he will proactively work with clients and recommend paths toward improved employee health and engagement. As a clinician with over 40 years’ experience in the healthcare industry, Van Duyne is at the intersection of medicine, technology, and insurance to help improve healthcare quality, efficiency, and accessibility for Artemis clients, the company said.

The firm said that Chris Cordes serves as the Nashville-based president and has a career spanning 35 years and extensive expertise in sales leadership, organizational development, and growth strategies.

‘Customized solutions that emphasize employee well-being’

Co-founders Lamb and Anderson said they founded Artemis to provide custom solutions.

“Our industry has experienced significant consolidation and that has been to the detriment of the clients. We are here to provide insurance solutions tailored to unique needs, avoiding the one-size-fits-many mindset that has become pervasive. Geographically, we can assist our clients in all 50 states and globally, and we are actively on-boarding clients and creating customized solutions that emphasize employee well-being,” Lamb said in a statement.

Anderson added, “Artemis Risk Solutions understands that traditional risk management approaches are no longer sufficient in an era defined by digital disruption and interconnectedness. At Artemis, we are staying ahead of industry trends and anticipating regulations to ensure our clients gain a competitive advantage.”

Artemis said its suite of services includes:

Employee Benefits: Artemis specializes in crafting employee benefit packages that will attract and retain top talent and promote well-being and job satisfaction.

Property & Casualty: By learning about client businesses and understanding the macro-business environment, Artemis is creating customized Property and Casualty Solutions that safeguard organizations from unforeseen events, providing peace of mind and financial stability while preserving share and stakeholder value.

Personal Lines: Artemis prioritizes tailored insurance to protect clients’ homes, vehicles, and personal possessions at competitive rates.

Artemis said it’s committed to delivering unparalleled value and results for its clients, empowering them to navigate today’s business landscape with confidence and peace of mind.
