Lee & Associates adds Broad Reach Retail Partners to expand Howard County brokerage

Lee & Associates | Maryland, a commercial real estate brokerage and management firm, has announced the addition of a dedicated mid-Atlantic retail sales and leasing team to the Howard County-based brokerage firm.
Former Broad Reach Retail Partners professionals Mark Mueller and Glenn Ulick have been named senior vice presidents and Kaitlyn Thomas joins as associate who, combined, bring more than 70 years of retail real estate and business experience to the organization which is part of the Lee & Associates network with international offices.
Mueller has more than 43 years of retail real estate experience and was formerly president of the brokerage division of Broad Reach Retail Partners. Mueller was previously president of Sierra U.S.’s mid-Atlantic region for eight years and also worked for KLNB Retail. Throughout his career, he has completed transactions totaling more than 2 million square feet of space on behalf of landlords and tenants.
Ulick was formerly senior brokerage associate for Broad Reach Retail Partners and has more than 18 years of industry experience. Ulick, who also handled brokerage responsibilities for Grubb & Ellis and Newmark, performed a full range of sales and leasing activities for Broad Reach, handling third-party brokerage responsibilities for landlords and national, regional, and local tenants. He has executed sales and leasing for more than 3.5 million square feet of space throughout his career.
In her role as brokerage associate for broad reach retail partners, Thomas assisted with all sales and leasing activities. She brings more than 11 years of industry experience to this position and remains active with her family’s retail development company, Rowland Development Group. The company specializes in ground-up real estate development activities and has worked for Dollar General, Royal Farms and other retailers entering into or expanding within western Maryland.
