Monument Sotheby’s welcomes Serio Team agents to brokerage

Monument Sotheby’s International Realty – Coastal Division announced the recent addition of Frank and Audrey Serio to its brokerage of real estate professionals.

Frank Serio is a seasoned real estate professional whose journey into the industry began in 1984, setting the stage for a remarkable career and leaving an indelible mark on the industry over the following 40 years. Wielding unparalleled dedication and expertise with broker licenses in Delaware and Maryland, his influence extends beyond state lines, establishing him as a respected figure locally, nationally and internationally.

A sought-after educator and speaker, Serio contributes to professional development and has shared his expertise through numerous presentations. Currently serving on the Bright MLS Executive Committee, he oversees the interests of 95,000 Realtors across the Mid-Atlantic region. His storied list of achievements throughout the real estate industry is a testament to his unwavering dedication to leadership and his commitment to excellence.

Audrey Serio, a lifelong resident of Fenwick Island and Sussex County, is not just a real estate professional; she’s a businesswoman, community advocate and leader.  Licensed since 1985, Audrey’s influence spans the Delmarva Peninsula as she holds real estate associate broker licenses in both Delaware and Maryland. In her nearly 40 years in real estate, Audrey has served as president of both the Sussex County and Delaware associations of Realtors  Her commitment to industry standards is reflected in her continued involvement in numerous DAR and NAR committees, covering areas such as MLS policy, affordable housing and more.

Committed to to community service, Audrey is president of the Sussex County Association of Realtors Community Foundation. Since 1985, she has been an active board member, contributing to the foundation’s mission and success. Her enduring commitment is showcased in her continued involvement in the gala committee and as chair of the DAR Cares Foundation.

Audrey’s influence extends to the political arena as well, where she served as the longest-running mayor of Fenwick Island, retiring in 2016. Her journey embodies a commitment to excellence, both in the real estate industry and in fostering vibrant, connected communities.

In their move to Monument Sotheby’s International Realty – Coastal Division, the Serios bring with them a vibrant team of professionals including Christine DeStefano, Amy Steinwedel and John Mead.
