Wellness InsurTech company teams up with health insurance broker
MixCare Health, an emerging Hong Kong digital health and wellness platform company, has partnered with international health insurance broker and employee benefits specialist Pacific Prime to revolutionise the delivery of health and wellness benefits for Hong Kong employers.
The agreement will allow Pacific Prime’s 15,000 Hong Kong employee benefit customers to access MixCare’s AI-powered digital health and wellness platform, which provides access to more than 4,000 individual well-being services in the country.
MixCare helps corporates to improve employee engagement and retention and drives better policyholder experience for insurers.
The MixCare health and wellbeing ecosystem is integrated directly into Pacific Prime’s platform with convenient access through a Single Sign-On (SSO) login that eliminates the need for separate accounts.
With $750m premiums under management, Pacific Prime is now the third-largest employee benefits broker in the Asia Pacific after acquiring CXA Group’s brokerage arms in 2021. In just three years, MixCare has grown to serve a potential audience of more than 115,000 end-users, including through major employers in Hong Kong as well as notable brokers and insurers.

MixCare is currently based in Hong Kong, with plans to expand into other Asian markets starting this year. The platform covers seven key pillars of health and wellness: medical, fitness, diet, mental health, beauty, sleep and women’s health, which was added in late 2023.
