County real estate sales include Westfield land, Silver Creek | News, Sports, Jobs

United Zion Lutheran Church sold 11 Porter Ave., Silver Creek for $30,000. The church previously folded and its members are worshiping with neighboring churches.
A group of parcels totaling more than 150 acres of land in Portland and Westfield were sold for close to $1 million.
The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions from Feb. 12-20.
During that time period, a trustee of the Mobilia Family 2018 Irrevocable Trust sold five parcels on Felton and Prospect roads, to R. Chadwick Land Holdings, LLC of Westfield for $959,250. The total acreage for the five parcels is 153.29 acres. According to the county’s parcel history database, there’s no structures on any of the land. They may have been or are being used for grapes.
In a separate sale, Reuben Hernandez, Ricardo Hernandez, and Rita Hernandez sold 212 N. Main St., Jamestown to Fitzpatrick and Margaglio Holdings, LLC of Pittsburgh for $150,000. This is the location of the former Havana Cuban Cafe & Pizzeria. The business closed on March 20, 2020, just as the COVID-19 pandemic was declared. Three months after closing, the owners on Facebook said they didn’t think they would be able to re-open.
In another unrelated sale, United Zion Lutheran Church sold 11 Porter Ave., Silver Creek to Vincent Tundo for $30,000. According to church officials, that church has closed and former members are now worshiping with another church.
Including the previously mentioned sale, from Feb. 12-20 there were six sales that were $250,000 or higher. The remaining top sales are as follows:
– 52 Cookman Ave., Chautauqua Institution, Chautauqua town, sold for $760,000.
– 2917 W. Oak Hill Road, Ellicott sold for $470,000.
– 11975 Aldrich Road, Sheridan sold for $280,000.
– 4991 Luce Road, Ellery sold for $275,000.
– 100 Lakeview Ave., Fredonia sold for $275,000.
