As first spotted by Nintenduo, the description of the short video on mobile includes key art for Pokemon Gold as well as the titles Pokemon Gold and Silver beneath the Games field. However, the mention of Pokemon Gold and Silver only shows up on the mobile version of the YouTube app.

Before the Presents announcement, fans were already speculating about the possibility of Pokemon returning to Johto for one reason or another. Rumors have long been swirling concerning a Pokemon Gold and Silver remake in the style of Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee.
