The annual Jersey City Summit for Real Estate Investment will return to the Hudson River waterfront next month.

The conference’s ninth iteration is set for May 29 at Harborside with new owners 601W Cos. as venue partner. The daylong affair will feature a full slate of panel discussions as well as networking opportunities.

Organizers anticipate another sold-out event, with more than 1,250 regional investment, real estate and placemaking leaders expected to turn out this year.

So far, confirmed speakers include Gov. Phil Murphy, Jersey City Mayor (and 2025 gubernatorial hopeful) Steven Fulop, Jersey City Council President Joyce Watterman, Bank of America New Jersey President Alberto Garofalo, Liberty Science Center / SciTech Scity CEO Paul Hoffman and many others.

Regional and city leaders will detail new projects, innovative collaborations, creative financing and capital markets predictions for the next 12-18 months.

Discussion topics will cover: office and the future workplace; capital markets; finance, tax and incentives; affordable housing; SciTech Scity; placemaking and arts & culture; BGO and Bank of America’s monumental Newport lease; multifamily; emerging markets; and more.

This year’s venue marks a change from the past two iterations. Previously held at Newport Tower, now the event will take over the fourth floor of Harborside 1, while still offering views of the Manhattan skyline.

The Harborside complex is undergoing a “generational transformation.” The work aims to establish it as the epicenter of the waterfront as well as a leading live-learn-work-play neighborhood. It also speaks to larger themes at work across the city.

Last fall, summit organizer roundtable&advisory expanded its market, hosting the inaugural Newark Summit.
