Dow rallies 150 points on gains in Merck, JPMorgan Chase shares

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is climbing Thursday afternoon with shares of Merck and JPMorgan Chase seeing positive growth for the blue-chip average. The Dow DJIA is trading 150 points (0.4%) higher, as shares of Merck MRK and JPMorgan Chase JPM are contributing to the index’s intraday rally. Merck’s shares are up $2.47 (2.2%) while those of JPMorgan Chase have gained $2.54 (1.5%), combining for a roughly 33-point boost for the Dow.
